Ultimate Guide to 3 Days in Vegas

Las Vegas is always a good idea, and this blog is extremely overdue. If Vegas isn't on your Top 5 travel list, you need to revisit your list. The iconic casinos, clubs and bars, nightlife, dancing fountains, free shows, and more in the 4-miles long Las Vegas Strip, make it a must! Having said that, you should go to Las Vegas at least once! Being in Las Vegas is a great adventure of illusions, lights, shopping, people, drinks, and bets. This city can be overwhelming for first-time visitors when planning on what to do and eat in Las Vegas. My family decided to start making Vegas an annual family trip and to be honest, we weren’t quite sure what to expect on our first trip, except for the casinos and entertainment. But our visit made me more in love with this city even without spending too much. Keep reading to see what we did on our 3 day stay in Sin City.

Day 1:

  • Brunch at Hex: 10/10 recommend! Call ahead for reservations.

  • Shopping on the strip: The strip is always a good idea because there is so no shortage of what to see and/or do.

  • George Strait Concert: Highly recommend seeing what events are taking place when you plan to go. For us, it was George Strait and we made sure to go!

  • Clubbing: We probably went to 10+ clubs. Just a fair warning, 1 drink will cost about $30 or more. My favorite club was one that played nothing but Bad Bunny. I wish I remembered the name of it!

Day 2:

  • Day club at the pool: It's so easy to get lost in time at the day pools. Any day pool is sure to be fun and packed.

  • The Venetian: I loved the renaissance vibes of the Venetian! I could get lost in here. They also have little canoes that you can get in and ride around the area. So cute.

  • Gambling: I had every hope of "beginners luck" but I fell far from it. Be sure to take "gambling money"!

  • Sight seeing on the strip: From the dancing waters to the beautiful architecture, there is much to see and take in, on the 4 mile strip.

Day 3:

  • "Welcome To Las Vegas Sign": Did you really go to Las Vegas if you didn't get a picture in front of the Las Vegas sign?! There will be a line for pictures, so make sure you are ready to wait.

  • Brunch at Spago by Wolfgang Puck: One of the best spots and came highly recommended!

  • Gucci: Vegas is the perfect place to splurge on yourself whether it's from the spending money you took, or newly won gambling money. I always wanted a Gucci crossbody and decided to get one here and it was the perfect place!

Recommendations:

  • Rent a car! Although you can definitely walk to anywhere and everywhere you want to go, I say to rent a car only because you'll be able to get everywhere much quicker and you can also sight see outside of the strip. Nevada has so much to offer.

  • Carry an extra battery pack! Your phone will die faster than usual because of the heat and also because you'll be snapping a lot of pictures and videos.

  • Stay hydrated! Las Vegas has VERY dry heat. And all the walking around will make you tired and dehydrated. Keep a bottle of water with you.

  • Go to Club Hakkasan when a big time DJ is coming into town! My brothers were able to see Tiesto at this club and had the best day club experience.

  • Be prepared to not have much sleep! Your days will be packed, and so will your nights. Sleep will be at a minimum.

  • Take walking shoes! There is a lot of walking to be done and this is not the place for heels or pumps. Save those for later and take your comfortable but cute sneakers.

  • Brunch is a must to cure the hangovers!

Las Vegas is quite the experience and every trip will have it's own memories depending on who you go with. Whether you want to make it sleepless and crazy or adventurous and chill, you will never forget your Las Vegas experience. Don't be afraid to be a foodie, this is the best place to try different restaurants and food. Hope you enjoyed this blog. Feel free to message me with any questions or if you want additional information regarding any part of my itineraries.

XOXO, Tess
